In Springs of Life, Daniela Guevska and Aglika Bochukova are exploring an interpersonal approach of search through emotional bridges and connections.
With the abstract compositions, where each one reflects various forms of the heart, this joint exhibition aims to bring the viewer to his/her own personal search of questions. They also want to challenge the viewer to make an inner look within their own heart, which according to the Ecclesiast is “the spring of life”.
The series presents a different angle of abstract interpretation of an interpersonal dialogue between the artist, artwork and the viewer. Media includes café and acrylic on paper.
The series Springs of Life continues with some figurative images of women and elements of the Bulgarian folk related to the water, flowers and personification of woman as spring and source of life. The collection is made of ink drawings on canvas with added golden leaves.
